To our loyal Devonport Motor Show supporters,
Following advice from the Prime Minister yesterday against hosting public gatherings for more than 500 attendees, the Devonport Motor Show Committee met today.
Given the fact that the coronavirus issue is rapidly changing, we believe our best option is to cancel the 2020 show.
We understand that at this stage of the coronavirus outbreak, many Tasmanians are not feeling the same level of anxiety as other parts of the country, but we believe now is not the time for complacency about the health of our community. This situation is changing daily.
We have made the decision to cancel quickly to give our entrants and patrons maximum time to change their plans and cancel any bookings for next weekend.
Our entrants, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and patrons are the absolute key to the success of our show. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We look forward to seeing you at our next show on Sunday 28 March, 2021.
Stay safe everyone,
Devonport Motor Show Committee
